About Bonita Landing CDD

The Bonita Landing Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on April 1, 2016 by the City Council of the City of Bonita Springs, Florida Ordinance No. 16-03, as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.

The Bonita Landing CDD encompasses an area of approximately 104.42 acres in the city of Bonita Springs, Lee County, Florida, as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities. The land within the District is generally located north of Lee/Collier County line bounded on the north by Bonita Beach Road, on the south by farmland, on the east by additional property that is p[art of proposed residential development and on the west by the residential development known as Village Walk.

The Bonita Landing operates within the ethics provisions as outlined by the Florida Commission on Ethics.
